Bailey's First Birthday/Baptism Celebration

Unlike other events we have done in the past, my team and I had the chance to plan and execute my client's daughter's first birthday/baptism celebration. It was a great experience. A lot of work and time went into this event and we were able to pull it off! All of the decorations were completely improvised since the original plan was not able to work due to some factors. However, the results were stunning and it all worked out well! Our client was very happy with the outcome and was surprised to see what we created. There was so much space to fill and blank walls to decorate. Below you'll see some of the photos of the venue.

Mother's Day 2015

For a special holiday like today, I decided to get some fresh flowers to arrange a simple centerpiece for the family party we had today! I knew what flowers to get, but just didn't know exactly how I was going to use them in an arrangement. It ended up being better than what I originally planned it to be! See for yourself!

To all of the mothers out there,
Thank you for all of the things you do!
One day is not enough to express how much we all appreciate our mothers!

Mother's Day gift idea!

Mother's Day is just around the corner and we have the perfect gift idea for you! This easy, inexpensive and unique gift idea is the perfect way to show your love and appreciation to the Mom in your life. What better way to show that than a personalized wreath!

For this Mother's Day D.I.Y, you only need 3 items to make your wreath.

  1. Any medium sized wreath
  2. Plastic flowers about 5 in total (we did 2 pairs of the same kind and 1 single)
  3. Burlap roll to make our ribbon

Just cut your flowers into about 3-4 parts to distribute them onto the wreath in however pattern you want but we made sure to arrange the flowers on one side of the wreath. For this craft we used Tacky Glue, but a hot glue gun is preferable.  Next, you want to place your ribbon on the opposite side of the wreath. We used this tutorial to make our ribbon and it was a walk in the park! ( )

Happy 1 year to us!

It felt like just yesterday when I formed Dean Bernard Events. My team and I have gone through so many experiences since our very first meeting as a group and I can’t believe a year has already gone by. I am truly grateful for all of the amazing opportunities that were given to us throughout the year and I know that I couldn’t have done it without the team.

Dean Bernard Events has successfully planned, coordinated, and executed a total of 5 weddings (plus one upcoming one); 2 wedding showers; and assisted with another event company with 3 of their weddings! On top of that, a Facebook page, Yelp page, and the relaunch of our new website went online for all to see!

I am proud of what we have accomplished within a short period of time and I know it can only get better from here. We have made partnerships with new vendors, have a bigger team, and have some exciting projects in store to share with everyone soon!

What started out as a one man job became something bigger and, of course, better and I am anxious to see what else is in store for us in the years to come!

Happy 1 Year Anniversary!

Yours truly,

New beginnings.
